Tess won the 9-12 class at the 2001 ASCA Nationals pre-show under Kristin Rush and also won the 9-12 class under Celeste Telles at the 2nd 2001 ASCA National pre-show. She took 2nd in the 9-12 class at the 2001 ASCA Nationals under Toni Viola Pierson.
